in a time wave machine
not much can happen
between the words
"i love you"

faster than it seems
possible to change things
last minute or a second
chance to take it back

even add to accentuate
the meaning of the tone
time is just not there
for these three words alone.

Moms and Dads pass away
friends, brothers, sisters
aunts and "ants"
uncles, etcetera

everything beautiful must die
...but not right now.
waiting on a hypocritical moment to desire
life as it is but with out the critical hype
in self

time flops over time
like clothes, worn, in a machine
what feels comfortable
and what feels new
that choice

about tomorrow

memories strong and
reality mellow
about the past
and yells to you,
"you're living without"

dialectic life and
you miss your loved one, too
improvise a wisdom
looked for in your past

here it is today and
was it lost on the day of last
was it here tomorrow
living without.
