the world is composed of visual dark shadows
even as my eyes are closed

no escape from the shapes
that my thought slavely patterns
running towards before and after
each reach to understand

just to pay off confusion
if i try that far to concentrate
on the thread enough
for a completion...

for one point,
one hinge to swing to the next
further unrelated in sight ...
ever connected in meaning.
