"Tomorrow is Elsewhere"

06/26/07

it seems tomorrow isn't planned anymore...
intent is sold off at market prices to
buyers of instantiation

it's so sad to look back as a passenger
& see emptiness in car windows,
nowhere traveled, stone walls tailgating
for looking outward here at city skylines
and wide open corn fields

"it" can happen without the intent
but what's lost is that step-shaped gap
leading downwards

tomorrow is a staple for heaven;
lose the past.. lose the future.
